We like being our own boss. Who doesn’t, right?
And so, Winmills Mercantile Company was born. With a focus on family, honesty and hard work, we are utilizing our crafting skills to bring our customers products to fill their homes with things that they love and delicious goodies to satisfy their palettes, one sweet morsel at a time.

We believe in small towns, especially ours. The relationships you create by saying “Hi” to your neighbor, visiting your local farmers market or being surrounded by those who genuinely care about you and sometimes see more in you than you see in yourself.
We are thriving to make a difference, and we give a huge thanks to the unwavering support, dedication and hard work of our team and community.
We are using our creative gifts to inspire others and embark on a mission to provide high-quality services at reasonable prices. Most of our products are handmade by our team. It may not be perfect, but you will be sure to get something special each time you order.
We dug into our grandmother’s and great grandmother’s recipe boxes. We called up our Auntie Thibodeaux down in the deep south (we don’t really have an aunt there, but Mississippi feels like our second home and so many things have been learned there). We started at the beginning; our roots, and we worked our way from there. Hard work pays off and we believe you will taste it in our baked sweets and delicious treats.
Our candles and wax melts supplies are locally sourced and handmade by our team. Each scent is specially curated to be reminiscent of a memory and you will notice that we are limited on scents in our shop. Please be patient with us as we expand our senses to create beautiful scent memories.
